Today was the for the "Slumdog millionaire". Many things people have already written about it and are writing on it at the moment and will write till the craze dies .
I am having few question which creep into my dirty mind.
Ques #1.
The movie was written by Indian Author Vikas Swarup . It is mentioned in many sites as British drama directed by Danny Boyle. The movie won 8 Oscars out of 10. Would the movie had won so many awards if had it been directed by an Indian (loveleen tandon the co director , her name was removed),produced by Indian or cinematography by indian, editing by indian. Guess? These questions will ot be answered. It will always be debatable.
Ques #2.
Why the dance at the end of movie? Was it dig on the song sequences of hindi movies? Why? Icould not find a logical answer for that maybe you can help me on that.
Ques #3
The cast - did dev patel look like he was from slum. It appeared he was far more polished then Prem Kumar (Anil Kapoor). His accent was more british , better. Ha, Ha.

Is it worth the hype it is creating. Seeing the movie, I felt it didn't touch my heart. Anyway I have heart of stone. Very difficult to touch.
Anyway, it brings happiness to me and otheer indians for A.R.Rahman, the indian to win the oscar ( double delight for his 2). But the pain it is not his best work being A.R.Rahman fan over the years and as on date. Maybe next time, movie directed by indian, produced by indian with indians from india ( not NRI's- for me it means Non required indians) music by A.R.Rahman. Let it surpass the glory of Slumdog Millionaire
