TSK25K Feedback- Report Out

TSK25K was held on 15th December 2019, this being international even. This survey was done to collate the feedback of Runner's to serve as reference point for new runners from Kolkata or outside.

The survey was broken into few parts - Registration, Expo, Race Day , During Race, Beyond Race, Weather, Race Recommendation.

• Registration was broken down into Race registration, payment and query resolution
• Expo was broken into Bib collection and T-shirt
• Race day was broken down into multiple questions- Holding area, warm up, Toliet facilities, start point location
• During race was similarly broken down into Punctuality of start, Hydration support, Km markers,Crowd Support, Women friendly, En route toilet, Pacers, Race distance, Traffic management.
• Beyond Race - Medal collection, Refreshment, Recovery Zone, 
• Route options on  Flat, Hilly, Challengin, highly challenging
• Weather had options of Moderate, Supportive, highly humid, Too hot/cold, rainy

Runners were asked to rate on Extremely Satisfied, Satisfied, Neutral, Dissatisfied, Extremely Dissatisifed, Didn't Avail.

The survey form was floated in different Whatsapp group such as Dose of fitnees, Kolkata Runners, Salt Lake Runners, FB groups - Kolkata Runners, South Kolkata runners, Salt Lake Runners. Feedback was collected till 30th November.

Total no. of particiapants were 75, feedback were given by mostly 25km participants - 57.3%  as shown in pie chart below.

Race registration 92% of participants were satisfied or extremely satifisfied.  With respect to payment of race fees  81% of participants were satisfied or extremely satifisfied. For quereis support - 77% of participants were satisfied or extremely satified. 

For Bib collection 92% of participants were satisfied or extremely satifisfied.  The data as for T-shirt shows scattered. This was broken into 25km, 10km & 5km particiapnts to get better picture.  For 25km participants - 67% of participants were satisfied or extrmemly satisfied. 10km participants - unavailed was 48%, with few disatisfied/extremley dissatified.

Regarding the holding area 99% were satisfied or extremely satifisfied. 76% of participants were satisfied or extrmely satisfied, 19% were neutral. Again with Toilet facilities , 83% of participants were satisfied or extremely satified. 93% of participants were satified or extremely satisfied with starting point location.  This has been widely appreciated.

Probably above data needs microscope. All participants were happy with start time punctuality. Overall 93% of participants were happy with hydration, looking into dissatified, it was found 7% of 25km had selected. 

97% of participants were satisfied or extremey satisfied with km markers on the route. 

79% of participants were satisfied or extremey satisfied wit crowd support, with 14% neutral. This shows a marked chage from earlier editions.

91% participants were satisfied or extremely satisfied with race being women friendly. Here 100% of10km particapants were satisfied or extremely satisfied comapred to 25km participants. There was no adverse, 9% were neutral.

75% participants were satisfied or extremely satisfied with the enroute toilet facilities. 

Pacers data was scattered. Since both 10km & 25km had different set, drilled down the data further. 70% were satisfied or extremely satisfied  with the Pacers. For 25km, only 56% were satisfied or extremely satisfied , 30% were neutral, 9% dissatified.

Race distance accuracy was again broken down to respective distances.. For 25km,  72% were satisfied or extremely satisfied , 21% were neutral. For 10km, 83% were satisfied or extremely satisfied. For 5km, 100% were satisfied or extremely satisfied 

Regarding en-route photography, 60% were satisfied or extremely satisfied , 21% were neutral.

Volunteers gets a thumbs up with 91% of participants being satisfied or extremely satisfied 

Organisers did a good job with traffic management about 84% were satisfied or extremely satisfied and 13 % were neutral.

With respect to medal collection, 97% of participants were satisfied or extremely satified, 

Regarding the refreshment quality, 60 % of particapants were satisfied or extremely satified, 19% being neutral. This looks an area of improvement for the organisers.

71% of participants were satisfied or extremely satified with the recovery zone, 24 % were neutral.

For 25km, 72% participants found the course flat, 16% challenging. Comparably for 10k event- 83% of participants found it flat and rest challenging.

Weather was found supportive by most participants - 73.3%

TSK25K being billed best race of the city continues it legacy with recommended by 96% of participants.
